Does the rear reservoir have fluid in it?
That is not normal. Are both reservoirs topped off with brake fluid?
I’m in the UK and ordered mine from France via Ebay.
Unsure which country you’re in, but there’s one in Germany via Ebay.
Link below.
Bleed the rear first, then bleed the front, and finally, go back to the rear and bleed again. If it doesn’t bleed after that, replace the master cylinder and start the bleed process again.
I’m the OP and neglected to fix mine until the MOT was due 2 week ago so this is all fresh in my mind.

Apologies for the late response, guys. I failed to set notifications for responses on this thread and have yet again been away over valentines.
I believe it’s the shit weather we’re having at the moment as I’ve had to store the gv outside to make room for other bikes in the garage.
I’ll be bsck home on Monday so will report back with findings.
Thanks again

Feb 10, 2025 at 11:25 AM in reply to: 520 upgrade – Chain & Sprocket Kit Discussion for GV125-S Gv125 S EFi 2022 #18880Update for anyone looking through this thread –
After chatting with the guys over email, it’s become clear that my 22 plate is actually an 18 model that has been sat in a showroom for a few years, and has then been registered for use later on. This means that my swing arm is shorter than later models, and thus needs a link removing to compensate for that difference in length. This is an issue born at the Hyosung factory.
I would implore anyone wanting to upgrade to go ahead as it makes a major difference, and the help from the guys at hyoriders will keep you on the road regardless of any arising issues.
Thanks to Marcel and the team for the prompt response and assistance 👍

Feb 8, 2025 at 11:47 AM in reply to: 520 upgrade – Chain & Sprocket Kit Discussion for GV125-S Gv125 S EFi 2022 #18866Sorry for lack of reply. Had a late night. 😪 I was talking about rear sprocket which you’ve addressed. I noticed from pics of the upgrade that some are nuts and some are conical torx heads for the rear so was initally a little unsure. The front sprocket went on without issue.
I’ll get pics of the upgrade, ECU, and will get reg and chassis num at the same time, but please standby as I’ll be away until monday.
Also, bike is dirty af. I ride daily and haven’t washed since buying. Don’t judge me 😀
Thanks again, Marcel. You’ve been a massive help!

Feb 7, 2025 at 5:25 PM in reply to: 520 upgrade – Chain & Sprocket Kit Discussion for GV125-S Gv125 S EFi 2022 #18852Of course. Which email should i send to?
I tried uploading some pics but kept getting errors. Will try again.
Took about 3 hours but i had to find a grinder to remove the old chain as i was uneasy about removing certain bolts that may or may not be holding the swingarm together 🤔 😅
Can the links be removed if they’re riveted? I assume they’ll need to be shaved down a bit and then use the link remover?
One more question that i forgot about – the old sprocket has counter sunk holes for the bolts, but the upgrade sprocket doesn’t. Do you think there may be a problem with that? Personally, i see not much issue, but wanted to check and make sure.
Feb 7, 2025 at 4:08 PM in reply to: 520 upgrade – Chain & Sprocket Kit Discussion for GV125-S Gv125 S EFi 2022 #18846Hello again, Marcel.
I’ve fitted my upgrades today but noticed that the chain may be too long. Tension adjusters are wound all the way in providing half inch of slack on the chain.
Could you advise on next steps? I feel that the chain may need links removing, however, the linke are riveted.Tia

Thanks again!
Thanks, Marcel. Will do.
Fixed. Side stand issue
Thanks, Tomas.
I still haven’t got round to looking at it, but I’m aiming to do so soon. I’ll try your method and report back.
Thanks again.
This is weird but I had to get a master cylinder for a Superlight a few years back and I got it from Startright!! I guess I’ll be going back soon 😛
I’ll update the thread as soon as i bleed and figure out what the issue is.
Thanks again!
Based on your location, you just as north as us! Welcome! Okay, the brake switch may be on the banjo hose itself that’s coming out of the brake hose, if it has gone burst, it can be changed. Commonly as we know now, the rear brakes can loose power if air manages to get in to the system, so you may simply have air in the brakes. There is a CBS cylinder that goes between front and rear brake (think of it as a half-ABS system)
Hi Marcel, where are you based?
I’ve spotted the CBS cylinder under the rear brake pedal i think. Do you know if the brake light switch is Hydraulic? I’m thinking if both the rear brake and brake light don’t work, then it’ll most definitely be air. Will bleed again tomorrow, I know these linked systems can cause problems
