Im getting 1.1 on current bike I bought a stator and the reading is 0.9 healthy stator?

Smoke from the rear cylinder smells like oil and sound of scraping metal on metal

so new piston and rings then should solve the problem then? Also there is smoke coming from the rocker cover when engine running
