    Hi Tiago,

did you mange to fit bar end mirrors to your bike, I’d like to do the same, if you have any recommendations for what mirrors are compatible and the process for fitting them that would be great.

    Thanks,

    Nik

Thanks for your reply Cobra2, it turned out to be a bad earth on the starter switch, thankfully nothing to expensive to sort.

    Thanks,

    Hi Darkvader,

many thanks for all of your input, not gonna lie, some of it’s going right over my head but one thing I can say is that there’s definitely no electrical click coming from the starter switch. Although I’ve not had a meter on the battery yet, it seems to have juice as there’s no dimming of the lights or instrument panel. I presume the starter solenoid would just be on the end end of the wire that’s connected to the starter switch?

Many Thanks again for your advice. I will post an update once I’ve had it checked out by somebody in the know.

Thanks for your reply Jim. Not purchased hand guards before and I’m not sure what type of fixings I need for my bike.

    Thanks,

    Hi Marcel,

many thanks for your reply and advise.

I’m very interested 520 Chain conversion kit, how would I know for sure that this fits my bike? The owners manual says it’s a GV-125S but I can’t see any mention of EFI. The parameter list just says Carburetor/Injector type 28239162.

    Thanks,

    Nik

All I have is the Service Record book with the 1st service stamped, no indication of what was carried out though.

    Hi Marcel,

The bike was registered in April 2021 and has had it’s first and only service, this was on 14/07/21 and was at 625 miles. The service book says that it should have had it’s second service at 2485 miles or 6 months from date of purchase. So it’s not reached the mileage yet but well past the 2nd service date.

    BTW I’m the 3rd owner.

    Thanks,

    Nik

Many thanks for your reply and suggestions Marcel, Hyosung Support also said “Unfortunately, we do not have center stands for the new GV125.” Can’t understand why they’d make a bike and not fit or even sell a centre stand, seems like a standard bit of kit to me

Is there any information on this site or others that recommend when this bike should be serviced? Apologies but I’m a noobie to motorbikes and just want to keep her in tip top shape. The bike had a 600 mile first service before I bought it but is now up to 1500 miles.

    Thanks,

    Nik
