@marcel, ive just fitted some gt650 black forks to my gv650, I have the siler/grey calipers but can’t get them to bleed up…is this something yo do with the forks being different and therefore the pistons in the caliper aren’t reaching the disc, strange question I know lol, you mention sticking with TCTC calipers with grey forks and black with black.

    Cheers J

    Update, almost finished this build.

Ducati exhaust now fitted and I think it looks awesome.

Rear shocks are too short, when I sit on the bike the subframe rubs on the wheel.

    Fork seals need doing.

I’ve fitted new levers, and grips, need to install a side mount plate and brake/rear light.

It’s been a labour of love and probably spent more than it’s worth, but I think it’s worth it.

    More to come!

    Hi Marcel,

Thanks for reading my post and following the build.

I don’t have any pics of the exhaust (Ducati Diavel) yet as I haven’t brought it, I have seen a few done on the net.

I have just brought a standard system which is being delivered this week so I’ll have the original on for now.

It came with the exhaust system cut to what you see and two slash cut universal end cans… which where rusted out, I have thought about welding a y piece (good idea btw) and may do that when the replacement comes.

You’re right the tail piece is better shorter, I’ll get a sissy bar for it as well which should set it off.🦾
