Ah, ok, got it. My EFi has an external pump as you can see (photo attached).

Thank you for your swift response.

The bike is not here with me (it’s with a much more experienced friend of mine who is looking into this) but I know the fuel pump is a separate part (photo attached) because we replaced it about a year ago thinking that was the issue..

Bear in mind this is a 2009 model, the very early ones to have fuel injection.

If I cannot connect the original fuel pressure regulator, perhaps I can install an aftermartket one that works. Any suggestions?
