Chain on the rear wheel is too slack (believe it or not, the correct adjustment of the rear wheel chain helps a LOT)

Next, dump the oil => Look at your clutch plates and measure your springs, you will be glad you did, the 250 eats clutch as fast as it does on brake pads too. So hence the service manual says around every 4,000 miles , open the clutch and check.
Also thrust bearing inside the clutch could be worn down (easy item to reply) , here is more:

If possible , try to get Motul 7100 , it is an oil that i always recommend on the Hyosungs, and it’s good for the air/oil cooled engines. If not, try also Silkolene Pro 4 oil would be my 2nd pick. and use fresh oil filter each time.

The manual does say, if you use the bike a lot , change the oil more often and use “premium” oil like i mentioned above, the engine will thank you a LOT.
Simply doing a clutch plates change , does wonders too and you extend the life of the clutch,
Check your clutch cable isn’t too old or kinking, a new one rolls smoother than a 15yr old clutch cable that may have internal rust and dirt inside it that you can’t see.
