Just the one cdi I’ve ran the wires back they’re solid the bike has become immobilized from the issue intensifying as soon as it starts it misfires now same cylinder regardless of the ignition lead caps or plugs being changed ive replaced the regulator with a mosfet cbr600rr one as the oem cooked 2 batteries in a couple of weeks is there any other components in the ignition system then the cdi, battery and ignition packs/ leads?

in my quest for engine perfection on the gt650r i have tried the tricks of the trade i have swapped the front and rear ignition coils/leads and the problem remained with the same cylinder the cdi hasn’t got a name on it but I’m beginning to believe its the source of the issues
Ps I have a 04 gt 250 would I be able to inter change the ignition parts to check
I’ve used a timing light to check the plug lead on each cylinder number 2 lights it erratically where as number 1 cylinder blinks the cylinder beautifully
I have yet to do a compression test as I don’t have a tester at hand but seeing how I still have erratic on number 2 I need to look into this more can someone tell me tell me where to start the test process from to decipher where this erratic spark is coming from will write compression values when I get the tester
Dry & wet test valuesAre you meaning a drive chain conversion if so I just did a simple swap from the 525 chain and sprockets to a 520 chain and sproket was easy as piss no noise difference really
Yea have replaced leads, caps, plugs cre8k,ive installed a mosfet regulator rectifier new battery and still having the issue in the same cylinder
