I have disconnected the battery for a whole night, and I got no messages “FI” since ( I rode about 60 kms). I hope it will last. 🙂
Thanks Marcel
OK Marcel, thanks for the reply. I will go for a ride when the weather will allow and see if the FI warning goes on. If so, I will disconnect the battery for reinitialising of the ECU. I will inform you what will happen.
Hi,
Thanks Marcel for your answer.
I checked my stator which provide 90 V at 4000 rpm on each of the three wires, so it’s in good running order.
Near my home, I can find some regulators made in Japan. For example, a R1 cost 159 € and the “same” model from Alibaba is about 25 €. That means there is a difference in quality. I think I will buy another one at 159 €. It’s quite expensive, but it’s worth it.
Regards.
Daniel
Hi,
Nobody can answer me ?

I own a GV 650 FI 2007, so be careful that the oil filter I indicate will fit with your GV 250 2016.
This one might do too, but it’s much more expensive : https://www.ebay.fr/itm/FILTREX-Filtre-a-huile-pour-Hyosung-GV-250-i-Aquila-classique-2016-/162993316392
Hi,
I use this oil filter without any problem : https://www.la-becanerie.com/maxi-scooter/moteur/filtres-a-huile/filtre-a-huile-hf131-pour.html
For charging the battery, I recommend : https://www.dafy-moto.com/chargeur-de-batteries-moto-optimate-3-tecmate.html
It is connected permanently, exepted when i ride, of course :-P, and my battery is always OK (13 V) and there is no problem with the ECU.
I hope this will help you.
Quite warm at the moment. Nice for riding.
Hi,
It would be better to drain old gasoline if there is any left 🙂 .
If you are sure that the new regulator works well, you should check the alternator. The battery is only use for starting and after, the regulator provide the power required for the operation of the engine and accessories.
Hi,
Have you check your battery voltage ? At low regime, it must show 14 V. If not, either alternator or regulator might be damaged.
Hey Marcel,
Thanks for your answer.
I hold all the service books for Aquila 650 FI.
I explore the forum to see how to post some photos of my bike. I don’t find the technical section.
