That’s what I’ve been doing. Tank was rusted so has to clean a few times..changed fuel cap..took fuel pump apart cleaned it up.but also got another one just in case old one doesn’t work (I dropped it lol) .took oxygen sensor out and cleaned it up but may need new one is was pretty black with carbon so I’m thinking I may have to clean the fuel injectors (hope not)..changed spark plugs..think I changed oil don’t remember, but I’ll kust do it anyways .lubed up the chain and the foot gears .looked around to see if any wires or hoses were broken ..and then have to put everything back together …bla bla bla

Going to put oxygen sensor,spark plugs first then solenoid ,battery then fuel tank. Took it off to clean it was rusty..might have to give it one more cleaning.

Don’t remember how I took off the starter solenoid so not sure which is positive or negative sides. It doesn’t say it on the solenoid. I’ve been searchi
ng but couldn’t find anything so I guess there’s only one way to find out. I feel an ouchie. coming❤️
