here’s a video:Â https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5EChYSaCBo
my feelling now is fuel pump failing.
I made a video showing the error I’m having, can you confirm me if it’s really the P0171?
check this out: https://www.launchtech.co.uk/support/information/dtc-codes-list/ P0171 must be the fuel system rail as it says “P0171 – Fuel Trim System Lean Bank 1” I couldn’t find 171 in the official hyosung service manual, is that what the dash actually says on the bike ? Consider your injector system, throttle bodies in this matter here. I’m not sure how your mechanic checked that.

yup, don’t know why I’m getting this error code, can’t find it on my manual.
Checked every sensor, the lambda/oxygen sensor is fine too. My GD 250R is giving me the error 171 – Running Lean. Don’t know what can i do more … all sensors seem to be good, mechanic tested everything with multimeter.
Hello mates, I’m back with updates.
– Bought an original air filter, unfortunately the problem persisted
-The bike was disassembled and everything was tested, sensors, clean injection body, tested injector and it was concluded that tps was having problems. The new tps was installed, the bike was mounted, and after riding it one day, the errors of the bike disappeared, so far the FI light disappeared but a problem has worsened, the bike is costing a lot to turn on, just start with the accelerator at the most and there for the second or third try …
What’s your opinion?
Thanks for the help mates, waiting for the original airfilter.
Thanks for your answer Marcel. Some updates about my case.
Disconnected the battery for one night to reset the ecu, connected the battery and the FI light appeared in seconds. on the other hand, with this reset I seem to have solved another problem I had since I bought the bike, I can’t explain but it was a kind of delay that the bike had when it accelerated a bit, it only responded thousands of seconds later.
I called one of the two dealerships in portugal and they told me they don’t have a machine to read the error, tomorrow I’ll call the other but, is there any way I can read the error at home?
I’ve got 2 friends with this bike, they both changed the exhaust but they never had this FI error. I’m 100% sure the error is related to the exhaust, because it only appeared since the day I set up the exhaust not forgetting that I’m the only one who has a sports air filter ( i’m waiting for a original hyosung air filter to see if it fix the error)
The day I rode the exhaust I still managed to walk without the error appearing, and the only difference I notice is that with the error the bike makes more popcorn in the exhaust, do you think I can walk without problems on my bike until the air filter arrives?
