Defo dude. You going mayday.
Take it you mean the Hastings Bike Rally on 6th May. To be honest I was unaware of it until you mentioned it but having looked it up it’s massive, over 30,000 bikes, been held over 40 years.
I need to think about it as I’m not a lover of big crowds.
Had a little oops at a roundabout the maths went like this. Aquilla+roundabout+small diesel spill=ouch and crying on the kerb

Oh dear, least said soonest mended. 😥
You take it easy out there, I’m still hoping we’ll meet up and compare notes at some point.
Paul there is a GV 650 for sale on ebay which has footboards fitted it might be worth your while contacting the seller to see if he still has and wants to sell the original pegs or to ask where he got or brought the footboards from.
What happened that you need this part already.
Andy
Good news, congratulations.
I don’t mind the exhaust note and I like the look of that massive exhaust, but when it comes to the sound of the hooter! 🙄
It cost less than £7.00 for the shorter length gear shift link rod, P.No. H25525HP9500.
Paul, I hope your bike purchase is coming along okay.
If it isn’t there is a nice looking 17 reg with extras on ebay at the moment.
Andy
Not mine I must add.
I have one bit of advice. For some strange reason these come with the footrests set on long reach which was uncomfortable for me as I’m only 5′ 8″ . To move the pegs a couple of inches closer you will need to get a shorter gear change linkage arm to carry out the adjustment.
Welcome Paul
Surely South Kent got some of this sunshine in the past week.
Glad to hear that there is going to be a new Aquila 650 owner down south. I live in Surrey about 80 miles from Folkestone and own a 17 reg Aquila Pro. Maybe we can get together some point over the summer to compare notes.
Safe riding
Andy
I live in Surrey not too far from Box Hill, Newlands Corner or the Ace Cafe. Anyone near with a GV Aquila 650 it would be nice to meet up to compare bikes, mine seems to have clunky gear change but is it normal or a problem that needs adjusting.
