It could well be the unit has had it but try all the connections disconnect them give them a clean & try that first.
So it is possible for the unit to drain the battery if it’s damaged? As I mentioned before. When the bike is switched off. (Key completely removed) the screen most often remains on for short or long time randomly. I will the suggestion and update ASAP
