Sorry for the confusion, I ended up posting this problem twice. The first thread (this) got flagged as spam because I edited it right after posting and it didn’t show up, so I reposted it. The issue has already been solved in the other thread, so this one can be ignored.
For anyone curious, the problem turned out to be the side stand wiring not making proper contact. Once I fixed that, everything worked fine. My apologies for the duplicate post!
