Reply To: GT650R 2007 – Fault with Battery draining..
Finally done a few tests on the stator and regulator and got the following results ; –
Stator Test from cold – the readings were roughly 0.3ohms across all pins
Stator Test with the bike running at 5k (ish) revs – readings were roughly 55/56v across all pins.
With the regulator i actually found a break in one of the lines whilst carrying out a diode test, and the reading i got from the battery whilst the bike was running at 2k revs was 12v.. so from the results i got, i believe the regulator is at fault and needs replacing..
Could you suggest any decent regulators for me to replace the faulty one with?
