What i did was researched and found a pinout diagram on each, the 2-plug(8 pin) and the 3-plug(10 pin) boxes and then got a diagram of which of those wires were in my harness and then modified my harness to a 3-plug to work but it’s not 4pin-2pin-4pin like the box takes…instead I ended up having to modify my harness to have a 2pin-2pin-4pin plugs. So I’m still only using 8 pins of the 10pin box and still using the same 8 wires on my harness, i just changed it from 2-4pin plugs to the 2-2-4. (I really hope that nade sense to yall), i think i explained it right, it’s been a min since i did it…But hey it works, the bike runs great and I’ve been running like that now for about 6 months with no issues.
