Do you have a picture of the current shocks on the bike so we can see ?
Some shocks do actually get changed to custom ones by previous keepers to be fair so its hard to tell if its OEM or Generic aftermarket or some SHOWA US shocks.
Forks = The process is similar to the Suzukis with upside down forks on youtube, where it shows to also adjust the preload near the top of the forks.
Though i will say 10w vs 15w fork oil can affect how stiff or soft the forks behave , factory usually uses 5w oil but 5w can sometimes just leak and burst seals.
