Stator Install Instructions (DRAFT VERSION) •

Thanks for shopping with HyoRiders! – As promised for your 125RC/125P Carby Stator Order, here are the installation instructions to ensure your process goes as smoothly as possible.

You will see pictures below in “order” , such as 1 , 2 , 3A, 3B, 4 , 5 , 6A, 6B, 6C, etc… So please take your time and follow them carefully because changing a flywheel of a motorcycle is a serious job and if something goes wrong, you may lose your crank. We can’t accept responsibilities for that, so if you’re confident in doing this, then please allow a Garage/Mechanic to do if for you instead and give them this tutorial.

If you get stuck, send us an email and explain which picture is confusing , for example Step 1, to 5 went great in pictures, but you are confused with Picture #6, so please tell us that you’re stuck at picture #6, etc…

Okay, here we go!… THIS IS A DRAFT COPY. So some pictures will be missing “english text to explain things” , but don’t panic, follow the pictures, also the text below is rough, so i will edit it again soon. 🤐Apologies for any imperfections you see below!

^{TOOLS TO GET.}
^{Get tools *14, 15 , 17 , 30/32 sockets n spanners, mole grip and torque wrench.}
^{Do NOT attempt to install a flywheel without a torque wrench. it is required.

FRESH OIL AND FILTER NOTES:}

^{Fresh oil. DO NOT bother using old oil on new crank parts. No matter who tells you. Just be safe than sorry. And recommended oils are: Motul 7100, Motul 300v, Silkolene Pro 4, Silkolene Comp 4}
^{Forget other brands.}
^{Use 10w40 or 10w50 if it is summer time.}
^{Do NOT use 20w (it is too thick!)}
^{Do NOT use 5w (it is too thin & you will kill the motor)}
^{IF IN DOUBT. STICK WITH 10w40 forever.}

Replace the oil filter too, we sell them here (click)

^{TORQUE SETTINGS:}
^{45 to 60 FT LBS = FLYWHEEL CENTER BIG NUT}

^{7 FT LBS MAX! = OUTSIDE STATOR CASING SCREWS}

^{5FT LBS MAX! = INSIDE GREEN MAGNETO SKINNY BOLTS (SILVER)}
^{15 FT LBS MAX! = SPRAG CLUTCH BOLTS (Black 3x Bolts) Sprag Clutch is the little clutch that sits behind the flywheel.}

^{IF YOU GET A 2004 FLYWHEEL WITHOUT A SPRAG CLUTCH. THIS MEANS YOU MUST USE YOUR OLD SPRAG-CLUTCH ON TO THE NEW FLYWHEEL AND WE WILL SUPPLY FRESH 3x NEW BLACK BOLTS FOR IT.}

^{IF YOU DO NOT TIGHTEN THE SPRAG CLUTCH PROPERLY. YOU WILL 100% HAVE STARTING ISSUES! PLEASE DO NOT RUSH!}
