Hello Alan, i’ve been away for easter, i just assumed someone would have replied in my absense.
Here is the diagram that shows the sequence of how to fit the items back.
That spinning drum with grooves in the pic is the gearbox cam shaft, hence it is critical that you put your bike in a center stand or paddock stand (whatever means to get the wheel off the ground. Spin the rear tyre by hand , confirm neutral works.
Then shift to 1st gear, the wheel should lock (spinning by hand only) DO NOT run the engine.
Then shift back to neutral, the wheel should spin freely.
Shift to 2nd gear, the wheel should lock (means gearbox engaged)Now start the bike and shift to 1st, and slowly be gentle going through each gear while you ride on the street.
Worst case scenario? Engine rebuild of its gearbox components again. Costly excercise so lets pray and avoid that.

Cheers, l found the same diagram as you, it’s back in and all gears working a as they should, fortunately
It was nearly an expensive mistake
I have another problem though, when l try to start bike in mornings all l get is a clunk, but eventually turns over and starts
Thought it was starter relay so replaced that and still same, now thinking it’s starter motor but once it’s running it starts every time
Also replaced battery, any ideas as to whether it’s the starter motor or something else???

Any chance you have Instagram (public) or YouTube (set upload to “unlisted”) , record what your bike is doing , make sure microphone is close to the source of the sound even have someone record it while you do it.
upload the video to either platforms above and share us the link here , i should get better understanding without making any wrong assumptions to a part incase its something else instead. I hope it’s nothing major though

Did you take out the wrong plug under the engine ?And did you put everything back where it was exactly ? (BEFORE starting the engine ?)

Make sure the “tip” goes in first, then put spring under the bottom of the tip that looks like a cup.
Then tighten bolt.
Do not start engine, yet.
Put rear of bike in a paddock stand so that back wheel is off the floor, then go on in neutral.
Try to shift gears, if 1st gear is selected, the wheel wont spin, then it should mean gearbox is engaged, go back in neutral spin the spin, then stop, shift to “2nd gear” after holding in clutch lever.
Hope this helps and good luck, i hope no damage was done to the gearbox as it would suck to strip the engine down.

Get someone with you.
Tell them to hold clutch in.Then you should remove “magneto” plug on the left engine case.
Rotate crankshaft counter clockwise , to see crank is moving okay a few times.
If crank seems okay, it could be the gearbox.

Thank you!
today I get endoscope and tried to see inside gearbox.
I broke the ENGINE CRANKCASE while I tried tighten the plug back in wrong way ( like on the photo above) )))
so, now I will try to buy the new ENGINE CRANKCASE and reassembly the engine .
Nice day to You!!! 🙂

That really sucks 🙁 , i hope it is fixable and you can go back to riding soon. There should be a spare crank and gearbox on my ebay (@evocrest), global shipping should be available on ebay as GSP ( GSP means ebay will collect the parcel and ship it to you instead of UPS)
Try to find a local engine in your country first so that things stay cheaper.
Good luck!

Thanks!
Yes, I have found motor/engine block from GT125R, but I am not sure that it compatible with my engine of GV125 2011 ?!
May be you know something about it?
😯 🙂

GT125 & GT125R use engines from GV125 🙂 , even the 250cc uses GV engines.
So yes your 125GT engine is compatible with the GV125 bike 100% and they are both Carby.
Only 2020+ 125cc is EFI (injected) (GV125-S CBS)
