Good evening, my bike hasn’t ran in about 9 months now. she’s looking pretty rough and I miss riding. When I turn the key everything lights up, I turn off my kill switch and hear the fuel injector whir up, and then I pull my clutch and hit my ignition and nothing happens. no clicks, absolutely nothing.
In the past I had this issue but the bike would turn over when I let off the clutch just a little bit. Won’t start in gear or in neutral, kick stand up or down. checked the 30a fuse and 15a fuse under the passenger seat and both have continuity. I didn’t check the voltage of my battery when the issue started, tomorrow I plan to jump start the bike and make sure I’m reading over 12v again and see if it works, if not I’m back to being at a loss.
I have a plug that goes to nothing, I absolutely didn’t unplug it and don’t know where it’s supposed to go but my dash still comes on. Id like to upload a picture but it doesn’t wanna let me. Thanks for any help.

Ignore those plugs. thats dealer mode.
Switch on the bike and, let the fuel pump prime. Then flick the killswitch ON/OFF 3 times quickly , (the big red button) and see what error code comes up on the dash ?
Also it may flash a sequence of red Fi light, so count the sequences.
Check the forum now for the service manual (250 EFi) in the “manuals” section of the forum, it will describe in more detail how to get error codes.

Theres a small chance it could be his switch I think? Took mine to a local place once when I had resorted in bump starting and it turned out to be the spring in the starter button, iirc he bridged the solenoid to test (behind your rear right panel I believe).
I have had to redo all the like switch assembly’s recently, pen springs work great (you can only get 2 out of 1 spring really).
Worth a check before going diving into much else really.
