Timing – GD250R Tensioner Adjust

Hello hw is everyone doing i am a new member and i would like to know is if i can use the cam chain tensioner to adjust the slack i hear a ticking noise please advise how to

It is better to replace the tensioner , as it is “automatic”   (not allowed for rider to adjust it)

However,  open the engine and do valve clearances  and inspect cam chain + cam shaft sprockets for dentures/chain damage to them
