Thickness of rear brake disc – 2009 Hyosung GT250r EFI

Bike Model = : 2009 Hyosung GT250r EFI

Has the thickness and minimum thickness of the rear brake disc been changed?
The one on my bike says MIN TH 3mm
I just purchased a new one and it says MIN TH 4mm?

It’s a newer disc nothing to worry about, it just adds an extra layer of caution. Back when I used to do that sort of measurements I would measure 4 points to get an average but the problem with that is if someone doesn’t realise that & just measures one bit it could be ok but another area is compromised so making a larger safety margin is a good thing.
