Tach not working gv125

  Hi all
  
  ive got a 2008 gv125 that I’m fixing up and rebuilding. After taking apart the gauge cluster and cleaning it up and the tach isn’t working. If I play with the connector (colored blue) then sometimes it comes to life but as soon as I leave it it goes back down to 0. I think I’ve got a loose wire but can’t find what color the wire is so I can check the whole line.

  Show us a picture of the connector and where it is going (trace it) , and i will explain what other wire colours do if you show us.

  Sounds like a Broken wire/ connector check connector 1st , work back and do as says he says he knows his bikes 🤔😁
