Hi
While reassembling the carbs on the girlfriend’s GV250 I managed to snap the a corn nut threads. The replacement part number is 13329HG5100. It’s the hex cap for the sliding needle in the carb bowl.
Has anyone an idea please how do get a replacement in the US? Isn’t there a way to get replacement parts from Mikuni by identifying which carb we use?
Any input is appreciated.

Send us an email as we have loads of them on this site’s shop pages.
Mikuni doesn’t make them anymore but we managed to get a lot of old stock, i would say that brass nut and the “mixture screws” are like the most delicated parts of carb!
If urgency is a thing, contact SunCoastCycleSports in US , as we do buy their stock every now and them for the bikes we fix on our UK soil. They may have an old carb laying around or a salvage bike to strip parts from.

Hi Marcel
Thank you for your input. I reached out to Suncoast cycle sports but they didn’t have this part.
Due to time constraints I ended up fabricating something myself instead of ordering from the shop but thanks for the reference there too.
I used a stainless M5x0.8 bolt with hex head, cut the thread length to ~5mm length and drilled a 3mm deep 2.5mm hole. I had to add an additional washer to ensure the jet needle didn’t bottom out against the bolt blind hole.
I would have used a hollow stainless M5 bolt and just spot welded the hex bolt shut if the delivery would have been faster.
The motorcycle seems to be running fine but a longer ride will confirm.
Thanks again for the help.
