Removing egr system from gv125 Aquila

Can I remove the complete egr system from my bike it’s Europe model 2005.

Do you have any laws in your country that require it ? (ie. emissions check)
Sometimes it cleans the soot from exhaust  (a little bit!)

Some garages might ignore it but others who have dealt with a Hyosung before , might expect to see it.  I’m not too familar with Spain Emission laws as i am not a resident there but i would imagine that because its the EU, there might be a little stricter than UK, as currently in UK , it can be removed on carb models but i usually don’t encourage taking it off on EFi bikes  (Some EFi bikes moan if it senses the exhaust sensors notice a change in air quality but i digress)

Thanks for your reply, I’ve removed the complete system, no electrical connections. Bike running perfect now after full carburettor strip and clean.😊
