Hi guys, i buy a hyosung gv 250 efi for my son (2014 year). The electrical installation has been tampered with a bit too much. I’m trying to fix the bad links and broken original lines.
I’ve made quite a few corrections, But I couldn’t find what one relay plug was for and where it was connected. There was no relay on the plug, but everything still works on the motorcycle.
Δ° have a photo for this, this plug on left side of bike. and the charge controller is in rear of it.
Do you know what this relay socket is for?
Or is it not a relay socket?
Thanks

Hey, you can ignore it if the bikee is working normally.
That is for dealer diagnostics or official hyosung scan tool (expensive and only given to dealers) , normally that 4 pin plug is hidden away in a rubber shield.
So make sure that loose wire does not cause sparks or shorting!

Thanks for reply.
But I put a relay in this socket to see what it was for and then removed it. I hope I didn’t damage it.
Why would they make the diagnostic tool connection the same type as a relay socket? π
Thanks again.

That silver metal bracket is used on GV250 EFi and Carby.
Ignore those 2 holes. It is for “idle adjuster cable hook” for carb models.
