Problems with GT 650 Comet 2009

Bike Model = : GT 650 Comet

I have a problem with my bike. When I start in first and accelerate, the bike seems to not wanna put out enough power at 1-5000 rpm. When I exceed that amount the bike grips and wanna go. Furthermore when I fully accelerate in second the rpm’s go to max but I can’t exceed 75 km/h.

 

I have tried replacing the ignition cable and that fixed the issue for about a 500 m ride but then I’m back at square one and the bike doesent want to run fast and smooth, it stutters..

 

right now the bike doesent feel and ride like a 650 cc

would that be an EFi or carb model (Carb models got sold until 2010 but EFi started in 2008 = So its a transitory gap hence we ask)

What work has been done to the bike so far to try overhaul it ?

I’ve messed with the tps and now the bike runs like it should! But I still think there is some issues with misfiring. Any idea why this may be? When I have it standing I neutral it sounds like its missing a beat once in a while.
