Bike Model = : GT250R 2016
Hiiii. New here. I am curious to see if anyone has found a phone mount that works for this model. I bought this new from a dealer left over maybe 8 years ago. I guess they couldn’t move it. I usually rode as a passenger for a few years but I ended up letting it sit for 4 years with gas in it. I restored the tank myself. Put in new fuel pump, fuel sending unit, oil change, and new battery. Put a little Techron in it…filled it with gas and she lives! Only 400 miles on it. Taught myself to ride, took a class and passed, got my license. I only have a magnetic sticky one and it’s obviously flies off randomly. I love the bike. It pulled 2 of us well and we weren’t tiny. If they still made the 650’s, that would be my next bike. It’s been running great for 3-4 months. Sometimes I need navigation so the phone mount has become important. I would also like to still be able to use the mag holder in my car. I see quad lock makes that harder to use a vertical car holder. Any suggestions? Has anyone been able to fit the one that goes around the metal of the handle bars? Not much room.

Have you tried OXFORD NAV BAG / BAFFALO NAV BAG ? this straps to the yoke itself , and you can see your phone or satnav as clear the dashboard too, i use it sometimes on the GTR when i am not on the GV Cruiser.
Not much room around the bars because anything else will hit the fairing screens when turning and they tend to vibrate like crazy, i never trust it.
Or, buy a SPARE Hyosung steering nut, go to a bike shop, to make a hole in it , and you can look at doing RAM mounts (many variations on Amazon US store, so have try one that fits you)
If not, i usually sometimes also chuck the phone in the bag, and rely on bluetooth earpieces in my helmet.
Welcome to the club and nice ride! – Yes they still make 650s , their latest is the GV650 Pro ABS , the GT650 was last made in 2016-2020 era (no news on revision of the GT250 and GT650 yet)
Keep the GT250R , it’s a nice little rocket! – very rare to find one that clean these days!
