      GV650 2014

      Hello all,

Things happened quite fast for me since I only discovered the Hyosung GV650 a few days ago.  Im going to view a 2014 reg this evening.  It has 38,000km on the clocks. The ads description says everything works fine etc with a recent service and tyres.  The thing is I know absolutely nothing about the bike or what to look out for any issues.  What should I look out for regarding the bike? any known issues? with nearly 40,000km done what could be an issue or what service is due? anything regarding suspension?

Sorry for the rushed message but I only have a few hours before I inspect the bike.

      Thanks all

      Joe

Sorry might be a bit late, the hyosungs are pretty robust tbh, the charging side of things are a weak spot you do see mentions of camchain tensioners but all self adjusting types do have a basic flaw but that’s another story, valves should be checked they are a bit of a muck about to do but not to difficult, oil & filter changes are the important thing.

Thank you Simon. I had. Look at the bike and the only issue was cosmetic. Some chrome flaking for example. I’m collecting the bike this evening so it’s only then I’ll have a chance to give it a good run.

I’m finding it hard to navigate the site. Like the shop for example. I want to pick up  service kit. I’ll need brake pads front and rear, oil and air filter. Where do you guys shop for these items. I’m riding the bike home tonight for the first time. Brake pads look very low so I’ll them asap.

Send me an email fella.  It’s a new site that’s having its shop database built up over time, especially with “bundle kits” in mind as i like to put up good things, not just junk commonly on fleebay but i can usually get anything if you need anything.
