New Rider…Starter button goosed

Hi,

New rider – completed CBT January with intention to complete DAS.

Change mind after seeing a used GT Hyosung at a dealer.  After a few months looking for one I could afford (private deal £1250) I received delivery of a wicked 2016 GT125R, 5K, 2 owners.

Obviously been dropped (left) with cracked fairing, missing fixings, dodgy led aftermarket indindicators and few other minor cosmetic issues and general clean and lube after lying in a storage for a year.

My issue is that the starter button does not work but can short battery connection to start with key in and switch on no trouble.

Any simple checks I can do before taking it to a local mechanic for a service and general inspection report.

Cant wait to ride it…absolutely stunning looking 125 bike.  I just hope I enjoy learning to ride it in order to help me with my daily bypass commute once we go back to work full time.

Check the main fuse if that’s OK it would most likely the starter solenoid

Thanks…sorted, just fuse after I found it.
Going in for inspection/ service tomorrow.

I’ve booked my CBT on the 23rd June ,just bought a Hyosung Aquila Gv 125, £2100 ,800 miles on the clock , 1 owner,full service and not,can’t wait to ride it
