Jul 23, 2026 at 1:22 PM #23006Bike Model = : GA 125 Cruise I
Hey guys,
I am new in the Hyosung game. I got a GA 125 Cruise I from a friend of mine. Unfortunately the front brake is damaged and I need a new one. Any guesses where I can get a full kit (calliper, piston, etc.)? I couldnt find one on the internet yet.
Thanks!

Hyosung stopped making it that is why, but is there a way you can remove the piston , measure it or take it to a local bike shop so they match it from a different bike?
Technically, you CAN fit another caliper of similar size (maybe old 80s suzuki 125? ) and fabricate a custom bracket to mount it ?

Unfortunately there is no bike shop nearby so I just looked for it on the internet until now.
Furthermore, I live in Germany and our regulations say if you manufacture a bracket by yourself you are no longer allowed to drive with the bike.

That is crazy!
Okay, hmmm, what if you get 2007-2016 Forks ===> it means you can use TCTC calipers , but it also means you will use 2007 mudguard , 2007 7.6 inch headlight etc, as the 2001 and 2007+ models have a front facelift look, not just a fork upgrade.

Unfortunately that is also not allowed here. Maybe I just buy another GA 125 as a spare part holder. Might be the easiest and cheapest solution. But thanks anyways!
