Hi all.
Im looking for some help. I’ve been loving my GV 125 for nearly a year now and is a great bike but i have an issue. Went for a long ride (approx. 70miles) about a month ago and the bike started losing power and eventually the electrics died on me. I thought it might be the battery dying as it was the original one on the bike so i fitted another. Started first time. Did a few short journeys to work (roughly 3 mile round trip) bike started losing power again. Got the multi meter out and checked the voltage of the battery and it had lost charge again. Charged it back up checked voltage 12.8v. Started the bike checked the battery expecting to see about 13.5 to 14v on the multi meter but still only 12.6v. This has led me to believe the magneto/ stator has failed. Problem is I cant seem to find one anywhere in the uk. Has anyone got any ideas where i could get one.
Cheers
Ian
