Benix777ParticipantHi i have a hyosung gt20r efi 2007
i tried i think almost everything but it wont start ! :/
so the problem
It cranks , have spark, fuel… but if it strats its just the front cilynder sometimes it reacts to gas then off… sometimes it wont even start with one cylinder just bang a big flame even backwards to the injectors … sometimes it does nothing lol
i changed the fuel pump , spark plugs, sensors, the injectors, ECU , timing is good , compression is good
little more info
like 1-2y before it runs good no problem the last owner put it down for 0.5-1year And the fuel pump gasket melts in to the fuel… time passed i went there to buy it but the fuel pump cloged up and dead… and here we are

♠️ M77KeymasterHave you tried something called BRADEX EASY START (if you google it) it may be at any local shop or find a product similar to it and spray the air filter (NOT the airbox) , just the actual filter itself, spray it wet , then quickly put it back inside safely , watch out for the pipes going to the fuel pump so they don’t break.
The bike must start on Gas induced air filter , if it screams for a split second, you have fueling issues.

SimonParticipantThis might be a bit late but have you checked the cam timing the symptoms are similar to being 1-2 teeth out on the intake side

Hans-WilhelmParticipantAre you getting an error message? I had the same problem: everything was working – the ignition, the fuel pump, the injectors, the starter motor – but it wouldn’t start. Try connecting a car battery in parallel. It worked straight away for me.

HeatherParticipantDo you have the air box that came with the bike? Just making sure that you do and you’re using it.
I’ve known some who chose not to use one and it did just as yours is doing, except they weren’t as lucky as you. It didn’t just blow back, it blew back and caught on fire.
ETA: Also, I believe it’s the intake side valves if not seated properly or if they have carbon buildup can get things nice and hot inside the cylinder. Since one side seems to be firing and not the other at times suggests maybe a valve or two is seized or needs cleaned.
You have turned motor by hand to ensure both pistons are turning?
