Oh! My! HECK!!!!!
Ya’ll are just NOT gonna believe my absolute, 100% total and complete BLONDE not just moment but month let me tell you!
First off hey ya’ll! A big how are ya and I am glad to be here to ya!
Well, I am new to ya’ll but believe you me I sure have been stalkin the heck out of this forum for so long I’d be ashamed to say. Why you might ask? Well, let me just go on and tell ya’ll because I will never not admit when I am wrong and boy was I WRONG! Ha!
So….long story short I have gone about the whole learning to ride a bit backwards I guess you could say?
I can wire them and do “some” mechanical like carbs etc. I just haven’t really learned to ride one yet. *shrugs* I know silly right?
Except THIS girl has been trying for a good and I do mean solid month now to read the incredibly fuzzy and out of focus wire color code letters on the 07 GV250 Aquila schematics! You know, so I can finally figure out what this riding stuff is all about! And if I wasn’t having to use a different cdi box (have a 1999 honda shadow vt1100 16 pin which is actually 8 pin) it wouldn’t have mattered so much. And fingers crossed the swap will even work right?!
Better yet had I took the time to actually read what I had been looking at for a month I would have saw that the gt250 and gv250 are indeed one in the same schematically.
So thank you so very much for helping me without even knowing you did! I am so glad this forum was here or else I would still be lost in google somewhere trying to find a diagram I could read! Or worse, trying to contact Hyosung to get one!!!! lol!
Ya’ll have a good one and God Bless!

Hey Heather, it’s good to have you here 🙂 . Seeing stories like these make my day and for the other contributors of the forum, as they themselves have had to help each other one out.
2 minds better than 1 one right ?
I’ve worked on these Hyosungs (&sttill do) and occassionally i do get a brain fart where i must remember that steering nut at 80nm torque may not apply across every Hyosung , when i worked on the rarer RT125D Off Road Hyosung, so steering got a bit too heavy, i had to dial it down a bit (despite the nut being the same size on its GT brother! Funny times
Oh yeah take it easy with electrics , i did get shocked when i forgot to unplug the battery many years ago working on a different bike and the harness was toasted! (&so was my bank balance!)
Let us know how it rides when you put it back together or shout back at the forum if you need help again.

Yay! I am so glad I could brighten your day! I was genuine with my words as well!
So far my experience with Hyosung has been great so far. The very first thing I noticed when I got my bike was the front and rear coils were labeled! I about fell out from shock and disbelief! And different colors too!
I will make a separate thread to keep you informed of my progress if you like?
Thanks and God Bless!

Sounds great, we all love a progress journal , even some are just lurking around (guests) but we have hundreds & hundreds of people visiting the site everyday.
