Hellou! I’m oskars 32 years old now. Hyo gt125 rider since 2011, it sat for a 6 year period in a shed, i had bought a bigger bike already but just cant loose my first one. Since then i bought another one for cheap, put my engine from the older one in it and been riding from time to time, i just love it.

Recently aquired a whole bike excl frame from a 250 fi type gt. A lot of work to get the parts in my old 125 frame and get it running but someday i will for sure!

Got another 125 engine in basement thats supposed to be runnin… its in multiple buckets with top end disassembled, would be my first engine assembly.

My current one thats running is doing grate!

2003 model, around 5k on odometer, still on original tyres, i know 20yo motorcycle tyres… can you believe me that they are still soft and dont slip on wet and cold asphalt?

A bit of oil leaking from cam chain tensioner, imaving it alone from now, because it seems I would need to remove the top to replace its gasket.

Otherwise? Power is great, 120 kmh with a petite girl rider, keeping up with us in group rides. Not bad for such an old and simple bike!

Great power, size, comfort. I just love it.

      Welcome!

As long as you love the Hyosung, it will love you back lol.   It may look simple but it works very well when parts stay good.

Do check that leak, otherwise its a bad day if oil slips on to your tyres while riding with passenger!

I’d still change the tyres haha! – Here we wouldn’t dare use 20yo tyres in UK climate, its just too icy winter, yikes!
