Hi, I’m returning to Motorcycling after a 20 year break.
My last Bike was a big old 850 (828cc actually) Norton Commando Roadster, I have looked around for something that looks smart and is cheap to run as a commuter and the GD 250 N seems to tick all the boxes. Looks great with the style of a KTM or Ducati Monster without the big price tag.
Having done some resaerch it appears that only 19 were ever imported in to the UK with only 7 still being registered for road use so I guess with my multi coloured paint job it will quite unique. I would post a Photo but am unsure how to do it direct from my Laptop without hosting it somewhere….forgive me I am old and not very tech savvy…62 LOL.
The Bike I have purchased is a 66 Plate but only has 200 genuine miles on the Clock, I checked the Documents and the online MOT records.
Just thought I would pop in and say hello, looks a great community with plenty of info..

I saw this bike for sale on eBay , i missed out on it but hey you have now become part of an much rarer exclusive club because the GD series was more of a “limited run” globally including its bigger St7 sister, generally Hyosung makes GT & GV models , but now these days they are doing GV models in varying sizes.
Keep the GD bike, it was an official race bike in New Zealand races and i only ever met 1 owner in the UK with the GD250 bike , rode together from Yorkshire to Wales in the same day, to my surprise , it is a nippy bike for its size!
Again take care of it and i really like the graphics on it.
Don’t worry about photos , you did fantastic using the external website to host it , next time just copy the [BB-CODES] and our forum will gladly take those [BB-CODES] and translate themt to full images as i just did for your post!
I am in the process myself of slowly revamping the site so that it will be easier to upload images directly here instead of using external sites.
You haven’t ridden for 20 years , so get out there and ride as much as you while we only have maybe 1-2 good months left of mild weather before its too cold to have fun!
