Hi,
I got a 2020 GV250DR Aquila, about 15000 km on it, I want to service it and I can’t find the manual. Never got one, and I’ve been on the internet for HOURS, and I can’t find anything. The only thing I found is the owner’s manual on some blog but it’s in Korean.
Is there any chance that anyone has an English version pdf? Or where I can buy a copy? Or is there a different manual I can use (like the 300 or whatever)?
Apologies if it is the wrong section to post this or if I’m breaking some forum rule.. I am truly desperate.

Hello. There are some downloadable owner’s handbooks and service manuals on here, but you do need to search for them as sometimes the ‘banner’ seems to vanish. Others are also available free on https://www.manualslib.com/brand/hyosung/motorcycle.html

The DR isn’t too much different from its older sister GV250Ei , but it is mostly in Japan, the UK has never seen a DR model and probably won’t unless it gets EURO5/6 certification and some EU importers are only doing GV125-S/GV300-S models for now. it’s wild. Hence i never got the manual yet but i’ll try to dig for one! or even ask my wholesellers who give us parts.   The main importer in UK is Sinnis Bikes , they do not even have a DR or GV300S , they are doing 125cc for now, it is slow!
Why not let us know what parts you would like to change or service ? – I very much doubt korea would change their rules too much on DR vs Ei , because DR still uses oil cooler from its older sister and still uses same engine valve heads (cylinder heads). This means “some” of the service manual rules for the older models can still apply to the DR model

Long time no see. Marshall.
Let me explain about the GV250DR.GV250DR was scheduled to be released in Japan. However, there was no explanation from Hyosung Motorcycle Japan regarding the cancellation of the sale.
In the end, it wasn’t released.
(I was sad)The obvious ones are China and South Korea.
My guess is because Honda’s Rebel 250 (CMX300) was released around the same time.
Although it is in Korean, you can officially download the parts list.
GV125S.GV300S is also available. It is difficult to find the service manual because the Chinese site is a black box.
This is the KR Motors website.
Please take a look if you like.
I would also be happy if it was helpful.http://www.krmotors.com/board/board.php?bo_table=parts&page=1

Unfortunately I couldn’t find the correct manual in the list Geoffrey provided.
It is not so much the issue of the parts, because from say koreanbikeparts or even local mechanics and what not, I can get what I need. I want the manual for several reasons.I want to have the information available at hand. My previous bike was a 2007 carbie 250 Aquila, and I had the book so I knew all the torques for the screws and what not. most of these things are fairly “common knowledge”, and I guess I can make adjustments, or go by the EFI book.
But still, there are slight differences such as the bigger front rim, the disc brake in the back, etc. I’m pretty sure that the engine is a carbon copy of the EFI 250, so whatever fits in it is interchangeable. however brake pads, the DR has a 19″ in the front, I’m not certain if the disc is the same… And don’t get me started on electronics.. If the DR has an ABS system as opposed to the regular “old” EFI version… The fuse system is different…
It’s little things like that.Bottom line is, getting the filters, changing the oil (and what is actually pretty crucial for me at this point – the chain and sprockets) I can figure out and do on my own fairly easy. Say adjust the torque on the rear axle bolt to 85 ft lbs or whatever.. sure. I want the reassurance of the manual, which I’m guessing is fairly understandable.
The model is close enough to the old EFI for me to feel safe regarding some things, and yet different enough in other aspects that I would really, really like that written word for back up.

Torques:
- Disc Bolts = 18 ft lbs max, with a little bit of Loctite (better to use titanium bolts!)
- We do have an oil change tutorial on the forum as you say, the motor itself is a carbon copy, so it will use the same oil filter, i doubt they changed it
- The air filter system is similar but almost “close” to the original carby models / efi models before the DR came on scence
- Wheel Axles (where wheels spin on) are the same torque as the EFi , i can’t see this changing.  Infact even the older GV’s used the same front axle bar stolen from the GT650 lol
Though , if you get stuck i can always provide insight , i will grab hold of the manual (bike has never seen UK soil), so i will ask an european importer/trader i know.  No one in UK asked for it, so sorry that you didn’t see it uploaded here. Elusive bike but pretty that is lol.

DR same as “D”-speck?
Old and grumpy,(?), have fairly wide engine & tuning experience, "restoring/resto-mod" on cars & mc, worked as electronic tech. (retired).
