Hello everyone, the other day I was riding my 2013 efi gv250 home from work and about halfway home the bike started to stutter/misfire and had trouble accelerating and the fi lamp came on,  I managed to limp the bike home and used a temperature gun and found the the front cylinder was cold like it had not been firing, I checked the spark plugs and they are both good and I’ve swapped the coils around and the front cylinder stays the same and I’ve used an inspection cam inside the head and it all looks okay , I’m out of ideas can anyone help?

Sounds like either the wiring that goes to the front coil has issues or it is the ecu.
Have you tried switching the front and rear fuel injectors as well?

Check the battery voltage & charging system first, if the charging has gone down & the voltage drops as it will all sorts of things start happening so check that first.

just finished putting the bike back together after swapping the fuel injectors around, it seems to be the problem now the front  exhaust is getting nice and hot and the rear one is staying cold, so now il order a new injector or two and see if that fixes the issue,  thank you very much John

I forgot to add to main thread I had check all wiring and charged the battery but thank you for your reply, hopefully after I get a replacement injector my problems will be solved
