GV125C 2012 carb hoses

Hi everyone, I have a bit of an issue. I got my bike running today but I have 2 hoses that don’t seem to make a lot of sense.

The air box at the top has a port for a hose that seems to have disintergrated/vanished. I was wondering what that was connected to as i have 2 hoses that are lose, one from the top of the carbs and one from the breather in the tank. I would have expected the hose from the carbs to go to the airbox and the breather from the tank just runs to the floor but me and my uncle are both quite stumped.

any ideas how I can figure out what goes where?

The bike is running lean still but it’s sounding nice and is firing on both cylinders. Maybe just a balance and an AIS delete would be a good idea.
