Hi all, I’m new here and new to life on 2-wheels. I bought my first 125cc a few weeks ago and have enjoyed a handful of rides. I’ll be doing my first chain clean & lube soon so was having a closer look around and under the bike last night and noticed a disconnected pipe hanging down underneath, on the right hand side. I looked for where it could attach and thumbed through the manual but had no luck finding what it’s for. The bike seems to run and turn over fine as is, but surely it’s there for a reason. I’ve attached photos – if any of you know what this pipe is for and where it should go, I’d really appreciate you pointing me in the right direction. As I say, I’m very new to bikes, so please feel free to explain to me like you would a 4 year old. I appreciate your patience and knowledge!
Thanks!
Phil

Welcome!!
Sorry for the delay, those would be drain pipes (sometimes overflow by the engine). Not to be concerned, hence they are facing the road.
If those pipes are bursting out oil or coolant/anti-freeze while riding, then it is an emergency situation (no riding until engine is fixed!). Hopefully that isn’t the case as the bike looks nice and clean.
If nothing is happening, then just carry on but while on the coolant subject, as were in summer, make sure the radiator and reservoir behind the black plastic coverings are full. So engine isn’t running dry.

Thank you, Marcel! You’ve put my mind at rest. I had a cursory check of all the fluids when I collected the bike but will be sure to do a thorough inspection, with particular attention to the coolant.
Thanks again!
