This is just a post to let people know what i found/did to fix my coolant fan switch problem. My coolant switch was not working, so the fan never came on. I looked at getting an original Hyosung switch, but the used one i got on ebay didn’t work either, and the original was quite pricey, as its an older bike and parts are getting scarce, i’m assuming… There are a few sites you can order them, but i did find a switch that works on ebay and amazon. it’s NOT a hyosung part, and doesn’t have the probe portion sticking into the coolant, but it DOES work. Verified the fan kicks on when the temp rises. If anyone is interested, its listed as a replacement for part number 19206-115-0000, or 19206-102-000. That seems to translate to the part for a Hisun UTV 400, 700, and 800. You will have to wire in the connector (you can find one that comes with the sensor), but again, it’s the right thread size that fits right in, and again, it works.
Well, i hope this helps anyone struggling with a coolant fan switch, if you’re into a little re-wiring.

The sensor with the blue top is the Hyosung part. The other is a spare i bought, because it was just cheap enough and i don’t want to have to search later… but that’s it wired up and installed in the bike. Hope it helps. Again, you can see there is no part sticking into the flow of coolant, but i’ve watched the fan switch on. please note, you WILL need to get the connector also, as the hyosung one won’t plug in, assuming you want to make it nice… -

That’s really great. I was going to stock up some few sensors from several cars but alas , they are not “plug & play” as such. So this gives me an idea to just make “home-made” connectors and sell them if people struggle , otherwise this topic helps.
Great pictures!
