I got this Hyosung GT650R from a friend, got told that CDI unit is fried and you can order online.
Been searching around the web and saw hyosung websites that people told me to stay away from because of scam.
Contacted many other private people (one guy from south africa, other from turkey and few others)saying that they have used spare but they refuse to ship to my country for no given reason.
I also commented on many facebook groups and one of the australian guys there mentioned this forum and said that some people were able to upgrade the CDI unit to new ones from DELPHI with EFI.
So where do I go from there, any help is appraciated.

Have you looked on ebay ? There is a few of them there. I looked. Also i don’t usually post ebay links to sellers i don’t know , like you said , some may be scammy but ask the sellers first on ebay if the item is fully tested & working, and it can save you money buying another fried unit.
