GT650R CDI UNIT

Hi all, ive recently bought a gt650r an the cdi unit has fried due to an inpropper earth ground, does anyone know where i can get one without going down the korea route, ive searched ebay and eveywhere.

Ring startright Motorcycles Leeds , they are one of our parts partners.  I am very sure , last time i went to buy a few bikes from them for my shop, they had a cdi laying around 100% for the 650.  You will need to confirm a few details with them though as there is more than one that the 650 uses.  Tell them marcel sent you

Keep us posted. If not,  send me an email and i will try my other traders to see if i can order one from them with your bike details or even the printed numbers on the cdi or harness of your bike for the right unit.

hi marcel, im starting to worry i may have made a mistake ordering from that website, the reviews look shocking! Can you see if you have any joy getting hold of a cdi unit for me, i will post a pic of the unit below. Drop me a message if you find anything

Thanks for the reply, ive orderd, its from hyosung korea, just says its fothe gt650r and looks the same but no part number clarification hopefully ive not made a huge mistake as it was £350

My first bike and only bought it friday an the cdi burnt out sunday, i just wanna get back on the road as soon as i can

Sorry to tell you, online even various Hyosung Facebook groups discourage people using such dodgy sites.
