Hello everyone, hope you’re good well.
I’m facing a very uncommon issue on my Hyosung GT250R 2014 EFI. The clutch vibrates exactly at the friction point when I release the clutch, making it hard to move from a stop. The motorcycle moves jerk by jerk from a stop until I completely let go off the clutch. It’s very difficult to manage especially if I’m on an inclined road. This problem exists only when I’m letting off the clutch from a stop, no problem at all while moving and shifting gears.

So I got the clutch inspected by a mechanic and found out that the thrust bearing washer was missing. So I’ve got a new original washer and got it installed. Unfortunately the vibration increased even more and it was more difficult to move without stalling. So the mech put everything back as it is without the washer. Upon my research, i found out that the clutch adjustment philips head screw length is different. The others on the internet have it out longer than what looks on mine. So my question would be, will adjusting this screw fix my issue? If yes then can anyone please guide me how to adjust this screw to the correct length?
Meanwhile we have inspected the basket and plates, no issues or notches found.
Attaching pictures for reference; others compared to mine

Thank you
EDIT:
Sorry I forgot to mention, I’ve got the motorcycle pre-owned. The previous owner did mention that he got the clutch plates replaced once, I’m assuming that whoever the mechanic replaced the clutch plates tried to adjust the screw and forgot to put the washer back?
Let me know your thoughts please 🙂

Try and see if you can wind down the philips screw maybe 1/4 of the length back inside from your current state
So for example if the the silver thread is sticking out 10mm tall with its locking nut combined, loosen the locking nut , and screw down the thread about 1/4 down and lock it , test again, this will be trial and error, so have good oil supply (4L jug of oil and its a good excuse to let the old oil flush out the engine, the bike always loves fresh oil)
Measure thickness of the fibre plates vs OEM values , get hard numbers.
Put your steel plate on a glass table , if they are bent or warped, replace them. and make sure clutch springs are torqued down to about 5ft lbs max (if you go over this, the bolt will snap!)You want to make sure the whole stack is good before adjusting the push rod center.
Then follow this to adjust the engine arm

Let us know if that worked and what helped ?
it sounds like a clutch drag issues caused by previous owners
