Hi Everyone,
II’ve just signed up on my brothers behalf.
I was sorting out his front brake as binding and it was the slide pin’s.
We need to find new slide pin’s and the rubber seals for them, but are struggling to source.
The one pin especially which is in the long rubber seal is so corroded it was literally seized in the rubber.
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards
Richard

Here is the rubbers below as we stock them
As for the metal pins that slide in to the caliper itself , soak brake cleaner down there and just pry it out.
Then use putoline race grease, it is good stuff!

Hi Marcel,
Thanks for this, but really need both slide pin’s as well.
The pin that goes into the metal part of caliper is properly OK to use again.
Unfortunately the pin that goes into the rubber sheath is extremely corroded and pitted and needs replacing.
And that was the one that was partially seized.
I have all these in bits already.
I’ve got to get back to my brothers and take some photos and measurements.
Do you know of any full front caliper replacements along with the caliper mount included.
Do you know brand of calipers.
Are they suzuki sourced.
Thanks.

Because he uses USD forks from Hyosung-Kayaba , they require specifically a hyosung manufactured mount.
We have caliper bodies on ebay or spare calipers , so look for our name @evocrest on ebayAs for brackets themselves , we usually sell brackets separately and the pins included (a bracket as one-piece unit only). It should be on our ebay channel , if it isn’t email us.
or , if you handy with fabrications , or your local fabricator can make up mounting plates using the hyosung one as a template then fit any caliper of your desire from Suzuki or Hondas 😉
Though, there is nothing out there that is a “bolt on fit” unless it is Hyosung specific, the koreans kinda made sure of it
