Fuel delivery problem

Hello there
My comet has some weird behavior at high rpm( 9-13k rpm) , it feels like it just doesn’t have enough fuel being delivered and the acceleration from 7-9 k rpm feels really weak. (At 10k rpm it sounds like the engine is sucking up more air than fuel and just runs REALLY lean to the point of not reaching it’s designed rev limiter)
Things to keep in mind : Bike has stock air box and air filter , aftermarket slip on exhaust, I also bought it recently and has normal spark plugs not iridium (yet)

The carbs may need very deep cleaning through and through then while carb is apart, check float heights , float seats , jet sizes and the slides retract nice and smooth.
If you can. Spray carb cleaner on cylinder head rubber pipes. If revs change = leak. Replace their o rings or check damage to those pipes
