First time GV650 owner seeking guidance

Bike Model = : 2007 GV650 Aquila

Hi team,

As the title suggests, I’m a Hyosung Newby, though I’ve owned more than a dozen bikes before, from small Japanese 2-strokes to several litre-plus sports tourers & adventure bikes.

Today, with a very tight budget at my disposal, I found a 2007 GV650 with a scarcely believable 5,000km on the clock for a bargain price.

The condition of the bike suggests the odometer reading is correct, and it rides very nicely, though as I’ve never ridden one before, I have nothing to compare it to.

The only modification is a ridiculously loud straight-through exhaust, which I will replace with the original (at least to get the bike legally on the road). Otherwise it’s clean & straight.

Why I’m here is that I’d like to call on the collective wisdom of the group to tell me what I should look out for and what problems are moist likely to arise with this model.

Any help will be very gratefully received.
