Good evening,
I have a few problems with my bike, generalny speaking, in Poland this bike it’s not so common… That I have issues to find some parts…
1. Rear shock absorber – in my country I can get only used parts, new parts are simillar but not exactly the same as mounted on Hyo – can anyone give me a tip from which another model of the bike I can get it?
2. I have changed jets, front 90 rear 95… Not even me, my mechanic SWAP them. After cleaning carbs etc. my bike occure a problem with not stable work. On neutral I have approx 1.9k rpms while I’m sitting on it (vertical position of the bike), but when it stays on the kick stand (nagle position) aparently rpms falls to 1k, it’s trying to stay still nie on this 1k rpms but finally it’s deaing… Don’t know what to do… New fuel cables, new fuel filtr… Before swaping jets, there where no issues…
3. After swaping these jets, during the riding from first to fourth gear everything quite ok, this bike alives after 9k rpms. But .. 5th gear it’s miserable… It do not have any power on this gear from 7,5k rpms and above. Before swaping jets, I’ve achieved almost 130km/h, right not it’s not even possibile to swing it to 110km/h.
Mates, please help with this issues. Maybe it’s na idea to swap jets back to original?
Sorry for my gramma…

1: MAYBE…: Mk1 Suzuki bandit 600 shock fit = Suzuki GSF600 Bandit 95-99 , + Suzuki RG250 ????????
2 +3: Float-level…
Old and grumpy,(?), have fairly wide engine & tuning experience, "restoring/resto-mod" on cars & mc, worked as electronic tech. (retired).
GT125R - sold. New (used): 2012-GT250R-efi (sold)+ 2017-GV-125C (sold) - got my old 2018-GT-125R back... 🙂

2 +3: Float-level…
Thanks, can you elaborate on your statement? I’m not sure I understand it correctly.

He is saying the floats and the float seats are the cause for #2 and #3 , if the bike is straight , revs go up and bike is on side stand then revs drop down (it is also harder to start in this position.)
So you need to make sure the float height is 7mm exactly and it should lift to about to 14-17mm. The “needle” on the float seat, should also have a healthy spring on it
So that when the float is lifted, you hear a nice little bounce sound when the float falls back down in to the carb = Instead of a “thud / bang” sound , this will likely jam floats in the future.
So in other words , #2 and #3 is float height issues as Cobra was saying

Thanks guys, the bike is fixed now!
Another topic with the rear shock, I found a used one from a GT650 and it fits!
Now it’s a completely different riding comfort! 🙂 -
