Bike Model = : 2008
Hi everyone,
My Hyosung has been sitting for a few days because of an electrical problem, and I’m hoping someone can help.
At first, the bike would only start with jumper cables. It wouldn’t start on its own, so I replaced the battery with a brand-new one and also installed a new regulator/rectifier.
When the new battery was fully charged (around 13.6V), the bike started several times without any issues. However, after riding for about 10 minutes, the engine suddenly shut off and wouldn’t start again.
I charged the battery back up to around 13.5V, but it still wouldn’t start. So I don’t think the battery or the regulator/rectifier is the problem.
The starter acts like it doesn’t have enough power to crank the engine properly. Also, the dashboard/tachometer starts glitching and flickering every time I try to start it, and after a few attempts the whole bike seems to lose power completely.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have any idea what could be causing this?
