Hi guys, Cheers from Malaysia! Where quite a lot of Hyosung bikes, otherwise known as “Naza” bikes are still loved. Me and some mates are currently doing some R&D to improve our 250 and 650, including flashing tunes, upgrades to suspensions and drive trains such as better hydraulic clutch placement etc., but we have one 250 that is running A Daewoo ECU, which got us thinking of the potential, as in stock form, it feels better then the Delphi models in some ways. Since it is quite rare for these Daewoo Hyosungs to pop out in our market here in Malaysia, everything about it is more expensive, hence we are careful about doing anything, especially to the ECU. Here I’m hoping to gain some knowledge and some insights on if anyone have any idea on how to read/flash the Daewoo ECU, or if any of you guys have any leads on this attempt, any input is welcomed and hope we can keep this slowly forgotten bike(Here in Malaysia At least ), alive. Thanks in advance!

In honesty, the Daewoo ECU is problematic , thats why not community investment was made to attempt to mess with it on a large scale , and the only tool that can reliably Read the ECU is “Hyosung Scan Tool”, you could ask local dealer in your country to buy one as Hyosung sells it to Hyosung dealers only. I believe Delphi is a better system overall. As you said, Daewoo is rare , so it is best to leave it alone and improve other parts like using NGK leads for the coils etc and using MOSFET regulators.
