Ignition Coils – GT125R

Hi brought some coils that where ment to fit my hyosung gt125r how ever after a quick inspection I have realised there on one wire plus the earth connected to the coils on the bike an the coils I have brought require 2 wires plus earth , is there any way around it or have I been ripped of

Hello Gary , can you attach the picture of your old coils vs the new ones side to side? and the wires in your hands so we see what’s going on there.

All 125 carb = All of them until 2019 use “single socket spade connector” and “one-eye ring wire thru bolt” wire. That’s it.

So i’d be curious to know what’s happened.

The second wire goes to gnd/chassi.

Old and grumpy, have fairly wide engine & tuning experience, "restoring" cars & mc, worked as electronic tech.
